Starting in 1965 with our grandfather, Athanasios Bali, our story begins in Central Macedonia, specifically in Serres. Over the years, with a new leader and deep knowledge of beekeeping as a nomadic craft, the journey continued through Central Greece and the Peloponnese, always seeking the purest and most pristine bee pastures to produce the finest and purest honey.
In 2015, his grandson and current head of our family business revived the beekeeping tradition by founding Melomeni.
For all these years, we have remained committed to the principles of Organic Beekeeping.
With a strong environmental conscience and deep respect for nature, beekeeping for us is truly a Philosophy of Life.
